Meet Calesia Blake,
Hi there, I’m Calesia Blake, but you can call me Cece and I’m the parent of many pets like you. I’m also the proud owner and CEO of Cece’s Grooming™️ LLC, bringing a passion for animals and a wealth of grooming experience to your fur baby! With over 15 years of dedication to animal care and 12 years specializing in grooming, I’ve transformed countless pets into their best selves, and I will continue to do so in the years to come! Over time, I have met pets and families from all walks of life and the one thing that has always been present is the unconditional love you have for your babies and Cece’s grooming will always be an extension of that love. I can also promise that I nor any member of Cece’s Grooming will ever betray the trust that you and your pets put in us. My services include bathing, hair trims, nail clippings, ear cleanings, and so much more. And now, I’m excited to announce to you all the opening of the first of many Cece’s Grooming salons in January, 2025 at 3880 SE Dixie Hwy, Stuart, Florida!
What sets Cece apart from other groomers?
I specialize in handling the tough cases – those dogs that other groomers might find too difficult. I believe every pet deserves a stress-free, comfortable and loving grooming experience, and that’s exactly what I give them, a safe environment for them to be who they are. I don’t believe in thinking that any one dog is too difficult to work with, I believe that every one of them has their own personality, likes and dislikes and it’s my job to figure them out to become a person that they can work with. They’re just like us and deserve to be treated with compassion and respect.
My Journey thus far
My love for animals started when I was young, my first job was at a pet boarding facility in Orlando/Kissimmee, FL, at age 15 in 2006. I then advanced through different roles at PetSmart and Petco, where I eventually became a grooming salon manager. I started at PetSmart in 2011 and in 2013, I was sent to grooming school, where I honed my skills and started my in-home grooming service. Later, I became a salon manager at Petco. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills in various settings, from mom-and-pop shops to veterinary clinics in Harlem and Staten Island. In 2018, I decided to prioritize in-home grooming, giving traditional salons a break to focus more on personalized, home-based services. Along the way, I’ve had the honor of grooming for some celebrity clients like Titus Burgess and Angela Simmons, gaining invaluable experience and skills.

I offer tips and advice to help maintain your pet’s look and health between grooming sessions. Plus, if your pup has had trouble with grooming in the past, I can help retrain them, making future sessions smoother and more enjoyable.
First Salon Opening in Florida January 2025!
After having established a loyal clientele in NYC and NJ, I’m now focusing on the growth of Cece’s Grooming by opening the first of many salons in Stuart, Florida. I understand the importance of having regular grooming for maintaining your pet’s health and happiness which is why I am building this salon for you and your baby. I want you to know that Cece’s Grooming will always be there for you no matter where or when.
I’m continuously improving my skills, exploring creative grooming styles, products to use, always searching for better ways to care for and love your pets. And this salon will be a place where every pet will feel like a VIP, receiving top-notch care in a stress-free environment. I’m committed to providing the same high-quality, personalized grooming services that I offered in-home, but with the added benefits of a dedicated grooming space. I look forward to seeing you soon!
P.S. I just want to share this fun fact with you: It’s recommended a grooming schedule for dogs every 6-8 weeks and for cats every 4-6 months, though this can vary depending on the individual pet’s needs.
